CTET 2018 Online Application Form

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2018, a new notification is Published. As per the CTET 2018 notification, the  CTET exam 2018 will be conducted in 92 exam center cities in India. The CTET exam will consist of two papers Paper I and Paper II. CTET 2018 Online Application is started from 1 August 2018. Here we discuss the CTET Online Registration process and CTET Online application steps.

Online Screen 1: CTET 2018 Online Application

• Choosing State: CTET Candidate should select State from the dropdown List menu in CTET 2018 Online Application form as per his/her Address.
• Select Identification Type: CTET Candidate should select identification type from the dropdown list menu, to ascertain his/her identity.

• Write Identification Number: Candidate should write the identification type number.
• Candidate’s Name: Candidate should write his/her Name as recorded in the Class 10th/Secondary Board Certificate.
• Date of Birth: Mention your Date of Birth as recorded in the Class 10/Secondary Board Certificate.
• Gender: Select Gender Male, Female or Other.
• Enter Security pin for CTET apply online

Online Screen 2: CTET 2018 Online Application

1. Candidate’s Particulars for CTET 2018 Online Application

• Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth and Gender will be auto-filled from the previous online screen one. You may modify information if required.
• Mother Name: CTET Candidate should write his/her Mother’s name in capital letters as recorded in the 10th Class/Secondary Board Certificate.
• Father Name: Candidate should write his/her Father’s name in capital letters as recorded in the 10th Class/Secondary Board Certificate.

2. Choice of Examination Centres for CTET 2018 Online Application

The candidate may select three different options for Examination Centres cities in order of preference from where he/she wishes to appear for the test. The choice (first, Second, and third choice) of the CTET Examination center city shall not be the same.

3. Select Languages Offered for CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST-2018:

  • Select 2 languages in which you wish to  Apply Online CTET 2018.
  • Select CTET Question Paper medium for subjects other than languages, from drop down
    menu box.

4. The person with the disability:

Choose Person with the disability if required, and mention type of disability.

5. Fill the Personal Details:

  • Choose your Category.
  • Select the Status of Qualifying Exam.
  • Mention the Mention employment status.

  • Select the Applying for :
    Select Paper 1 if you interested to apply for becoming Primary Teacher for class 1st to 5th.
    Select Paper 2 if you interested to apply for becoming Secondary Teacher for classes 6th to 8th.
    Select Paper I & Paper II both papers if you interested to apply for becoming Primary Teacher and Secondary Teacher for class 1 to 8th.

How to apply CTET 2018 ?

Step1: Fill the CTET Online Application Form

Fill in the CTET Online Application Form and note down online system generated Registration Number or Application Number.

Step2: Upload Images of latest Photo and Signature

  • The images of the latest signature & photographs should be in jpg format.
  • Size of the latest photograph must be less than 100 kb & greater than 10 kb.
  • Size of the signature photo must be less than 30 kb & greater than 3 kb.
  • Image Dimension of self photograph should be 4.5 cm(Height) & 3.5 cm(width).
  • Image Dimension of the signature image should be 1.5 cm(Height)  & 3.5 cm(length).

Step3: Pay the CTET Examination fee

The CTET candidate shall first choose Bank e-Challan and then choose the bank. After that Bank e-Challan will be generated. Paid the CTET fee as per papers opted & category.

Step4: Print CTET Confirmation Page

Print out the Confirmation Page for future reference.

CTET 2018 Examination fee:

General/OBC fee for CTET 2018:
Only Paper I or II: Rs 700
Both Papers I and II: Rs 1200
For SC/ST/Differently-abled fee for CTET 2018:
Only Paper I or II: Rs 350
Both Papers I and II: Rs 600

What is Information Bulletin?

Information Bulletin is an official document published by CBSE on CTET website, having all the important information relating to CTET.

How is the city for the exam centre allotted for ctet ?

Generally, Board makes effort to allot exam center in the city as per candidate’s first choice of exam city. However, the Board reserves the right to allot any center/city.

How many Papers are there in one CTET?

There are two papers. Paper I:- For Class I to V Paper II:- For Class VI to VIII If a candidate intends to teach Classes from I-VIII, he/she has to appear in both the Papers.

What is the time duration of each Test?

The duration of each test is 2:30 Hrs.
